Carolina House Trust will be participating in Foster Care Fortnight again this year. Foster Care Fortnight is an annual awareness campaign co-ordinated by the the Fostering Network to raise the profile of fostering throughout the UK.
The campaign takes place from Monday 11th May to Sunday 24th May 2009. There is currently a shortage of 10,000 foster carers in the UK and the campaign will highlight how fostering is changing and the vital role that foster carers play as child care experts along side a team of other professionals.
